Materials Scientist from the Technical University of Madrid. She obtained her PhD in Physics at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg in 2013 for the experimental and theoretical investigations on the mechanical properties of solar cells at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Germany. Thereafter coordinator for the acquisition of research projects on materials for electrochemical applications at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

Teresa started working at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung in Berlin in 2016 in the field of “Safety of Storage Containers for Radioactive Waste” with focus on design testing and quality assurances of containers for radioactive waste and research coordination for safety in the nuclear waste management and energy storage areas. Currently she coordinates cross cutting topics in the hydrogen activity field at BAM within the competence centre H2Safety@BAM, mainly cooperation in the frame of hydrogen networks and projects and promotion of young talents.
